Scholarship Benefit Concert
Where Dreams Are Drummed Into Reality

​We said, “The Show Must Go On”, and it did because of you!  Our 9th annual benefit concert was a virtual experience beyond measure.  This is the fifth year that we have awarded scholarships and because of you we have awarded a total of $2,750 to four amazing Baltimore metropolitan area students.  This brings our total to over $10,000 in scholarships to student of single parent households.

2020 TAP Foundation Scholarships Winners

  1. Nicholas Grempler, a 2020 graduate of Catonsville High School will attend the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC).  He plans to major in political science and history, and minor in Spanish.  Also, he is a member of the Public Affairs Scholars Program.
  2. Kaiya Fox, a 2020 graduate of Western School of Technology and Environmental Science, will attend Old Dominion University.  She plans to major in nursing.
  3. Jada Graham, a rising senior at Hampton University is majoring in biology with a pre – dental concentration.  She is a multi-year TAP Foundation Scholarship recipient.
  4. Favour Ujoatuonu, a 2020 graduate of Western School Technology and Environmental Science.  She plans to attend Drexel University, majoring in environmental science. ​
Our special guest, Saxophonist Isaac Parham was outstanding.  Tyrone, The TAP Band and Friends were awesome.  All of this was possible because of you!  We asked and you stepped up in a tremendous way to help this year’s recipients turn their dreams into a reality.
